Positive Help was set up in 1989 in response to requests for day-to-day help from those living with HIV in the Edinburgh area. Since then, our services have developed to meet the changing needs and increasing number of people who use our services.

Our original purpose remains the same, though the range of people we support has broadened, the needs are changing due to age and backgrounds of those affected by HIV and Hepatitis C in Edinburgh and the Lothians.  We follow an assessment and registration process so we can provide the best support to Service Users and volunteers.

Thanks to the support of our dedicated volunteers and our generous donors and funders, we provide our range of life-changing, free services.
